Build new schools & classrooms for Cardinals.
Melissa ISD is a destination school district with families moving here so their children can thrive in our high-performing classrooms. The bond referendum will provide a new early childcare center, 3-5 elementary schools, a middle school, a 9th grade center, and additional instructional space to maintain the small class sizesideal for learning. Athletic needs were approved by voters in past referendums are not included in this bond package.
Protect every student & teacher in the district.
As the district listened to parents and grandparents during the bond planning process, they heard a common request – protect our students and teachers from crime. That’s why the May bond package includes new and upgraded security and safety systems to make sure our schools are not the victim of criminal outsiders.
