Vote Yes for the Melissa ISD bond referendum.
Let’s keep our schools among the best in Texas.

“Every part of Melissa is a thriving thanks to our high-performing school district filled with bright students and dedicated teachers. To maintain our exemplary schools, the Melissa ISD school board has wisely placed an $875 million bond referendum on the May ballot.

Developed by parents, grandparents, educators, and taxpayers, the plan will provide our district with new schools, learning spaces, maintenance and upgrades, in-classroom technology, and student safety systems – these are vital to smartly managing our fast growth. Athletic needs were approved by voters in past referendums and are not included in this bond package.

Thanks to the wise management of our district funds, with voter approval there will be no property tax rate increase. Our property tax rate will remain 20% lower than 5 years ago – an incredible accomplishment when you consider that Melissa ISD will grow by 5,000 students in the next 10 years. Join us in voting YES on May 3 and keep our schools performing among the best in Texas.”
